A look at this pavilion-type hospital built between 1869-72. The future of this beautiful Rotherham Hospital has been hanging in the balance since a new Primary Care Centre was built nearby. Most of the building is now vacant and the local authority who owns the building has yet to confirm what the future holds for this historic landmark.

Despite the beauty and unique architectural features, Doncaster Gate Hospital is not a listed building. Recent press reports have indicated several options for this hospital are on the table, including the demolition of the building.
